Amy Lo was born in Costa Rica. Her father is from Hong Kong and her mother is from Costa Rica. She immigrated to Hong Kong at the age of five, she understands Spanish, Cantonese and English. In 2013, when she was enrolled in the Department of Food Safety and Environmental Health of Hong Kong Baptist University, she was fancyed by managers and became a part-time model for the first time.
