Choi Min Hwan is a South Korean singer, musician, lyricist, composer, actor and member of FT ISLAND (FT아일랜드). He graduated from Eunil Information Industry High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Practical Music from Kyungbok University. He made his debut in June 2007 as FT ISLAND's drummer, vocalist and maknae with their first studio album, "Cheerful Sensibility". The lead single, "Love Sick", topped the charts for 8 weeks, and later that year, the band won the Best New Male Group at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and the Popularity and Rookie of the Year awards at the Golden Disk Awards.
