Kim Min Ji, known professionally as JiU, is a South Korean singer, dancer, former member of MINX and current member of DREAMCATCHER. She graduated from Daejeon Gubong High School, and before debuting, she spent 2 and a half years as a trainee. She made her debut in 2014 as part of the girl group MINX with their 1st single, "Why Did You Come To My Home”. She also had her acting debut with a cameo in the web drama "Hororong Story". The group had limited activities and was not very successful, so the company, Happy Face Entertainment, decided to disband it in 2016, but, at the same time, announced the group would re-organize with a new name, 2 new members and a new concept. She re-debuted as part of the girl group now called DREAMCATCHER in 2017 with the single album "Nightmare" as the leader, lead vocalist, lead dancer and visual. That year she also joined "MIXNINE" but had to leave early due to conflicting schedules.
