Femme Fatale, a remake of the 1998 French suspense comedy Serial Lover, revolves around an offbeat series of mysterious murders that take place inside the house of a famous actress. Directed by Kang Kyung Hoon in his first ever featured film, Femme Fatale won endorsement from both critics and moviegoers with its witty, off-the-wall tales. Femme Fatale features the same successful comic ingredients as the original film which won a string of international awards, but brings some local flavor to the plot by adding humor more familiar to Korean audiences. The mystery novel writer of the original film is now a famous actress played by Ye Ji Won (Old Miss Diary).
