Isono Kiriko is a Japanese talent, actress, and comedian born in Minamiise-cho, Watarai-gun, Mie Prefecture. She graduated from Mie Prefectural Minamiise High School. Isono belongs to Japan Music Entertainment. She debuted in 1980. After graduating from high school, in 1982, she got a job at a local bank and was assigned to the Nihonbashi branch in Tokyo. In 1985, when she was 21 years old, she passed the troupe member examination and formed a comedy idol group "Childs" consisting of three women.
