Iwahashi Genki was born in Tokyo. He got his start signed to Johnny's Entertainment and is a former member of the Johnny's idol group King & Prince. After joining Johnny's in October 2010, he debuted as an actor through 2013's "Kasuka na Kanojo". In 2014, he became a part of the Sexy Zone brother group Sexy Boyz. In 2016, he was a part of the group Prince before going on to become a member of King & Prince. In 2018, he made his CD debut. However, later that year, he announced he had a panic disorder and suspended activities with the group. He officially left the group and Johnny's on March 31, 2021.
