Okura Takato is an actor and member of dance and vocal group Genin wa Jibun ni Aru.. Takato used to do swimming from kindergarten until 6th grade in elementary school, but it did not work out due to his fear of the deep sea caused by the movie JAWS. He later thought about stopping his swimming activities and entering basketball club at junior high school. He was approached by STARDUST scouting staff at a local festival in 2015, At first, he was scared and started calling his mother. The staff later explained that she came from an entertainment company. Takato hesitated to accept the offer because he had no interest in entertainment, but then decided to give it a try after discussing it with his mother.
