In 1987, while working as a part-time document organizer, Tasaki auditioned for the main role in "Kamen Rider Black." During this time, he expressed his interest in becoming an assistant director to Toei producer Hori Osafumi. While still a university student, he began his career as a third assistant director on "Kamen Rider Black."
In 1995, with the recommendation of Toei producer Takadera Shigenori, Tasaki made his directorial debut with episode 39 of "Chouriki Sentai Ohranger."
In January 1999, Tasaki was invited to the U.S. by Power Rangers producer Jonathan Tzachor, who sought directors for the English localized version of the series. He worked on Power Rangers for two years before returning to Japan in October 2000. He resumed directing the Kamen Rider series in 2001.

Shibasaki started his career as an assistant director on "Moero!! Robocon," and was later promoted to chief assistant director for "Kamen Rider 555" from episode 31, following a recommendation from Suzuki Nobuhiro.
He made his directorial debut at the age of 28 with episodes 43 and 44 of "Kamen Rider Kabuto." In 2009, he advanced from assistant director to director during the production of "Kamen Rider Decade."
